It was his last week of his Portraits of the public project.<br />They stlye he used was very similar on all the images displayed. The lighting was held over the top of the camera, just in front of the subject, whether male, female or a couple. This made the 1000 odd images look very similar, and after a while became boring.<br />The images were processed straight away on 3 MAC's, (and 5 assistants!)and each image taken was projected onto a screen so you could see exactly what he was taking.All of the images had very bright lighting and detail was lost on all of the faces, but still were very very good. Quite highkey lighting.<br />He was also exhibiting alot of his other work as well, but he does have lighting very similar on all of his images, not the same but similar.<br />A good part of his work is shown for free outdoors on the South Bank as we saw when on our London trip.<br />He was using a 6x7 camera at the time of viewing.<br />he has also taken some quite iconic images and People, including the Queen.<br />Yes he is a modern photographer, and up to date.Eric Gaff's photography bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04668477186718825919noreply@blogger.com
